Aluminium is highly resistant to atmospheric corrosion because, by its great chemical affinity for oxygen, air spontaneously forms a layer of thin, waterproof, durable and very adherent to the metal, which prevents the corrosion attack oxide progresses.
Aluminum can be anodized, painted or decorated in wood and other fancy decorations without any problem.
Contrary to the generally widespread, aluminum is a soft metal that prevents its use in structural applications. The combination of alloying elements and suitable heat treatment, can make use of high strength alloys where they are needed.
Aluminium is 100% recyclable.
